SYMONDSBURY MANOR

Symondsbury Manor is a lovely Tudor manor house set into grounds of approximately two and a half acres with the front lawn landscaped and the rear of the property left as natural habitat. The property is located in the very pretty village of Symondsbury, quietly situated behind the local parish church and with its walled garden giving views over the surrounding hills and countryside which is amongst the most attractive scenery in England.

The accommodation in the Manor comprises; six double-bedded rooms, four twin-bedded rooms and one single bedroom. One of the double bedded rooms also has an extra bed in it so that room can serve as a further twin-bedded room or as family room. One bedroom has a four-poster. In addition there is a small loft area with mattresses where children sometimes like to sleep. There are three bathrooms each with W.C. One bathroom and lavatory and one of the twin bedrooms is on the ground floor affording easy access for elderly guests.

The living room (see above) is sixty feet long with a large dining table at the end which seats twenty. At the other end a south facing sun lounge overlooks the front garden. The large kitchen has a four oven Aga which is oil fired and permanently on. There is also a utility room and larder, washing machine, fridge,freezer, kitchen equipment and place settings for twenty.
The Manor has the usual facilities including T.V.s The beds all have duvets, pillows and linen. You will need to bring your own towels. Children are very welcome. Please enquire regarding pets.

The house is decorated in a mixture of traditional and contemporary styles which creates an eclectic and interesting ambience.
